Integrated A/C and thermal management diagnostics

The AC909 combines vehicle data with refrigerant circuit measurements. Technicians can relate pressure, temperature and humidity to A/C system sensors and actuators.

  • Fuse OBD data with A/C measurement instruments.
  • Graph multiple parameters to compare component behaviour.
  • Access component specifications by make, model and year.
  • Guided procedures with illustrated instructions on the tablet display.

System and component checks

Test procedures support fault location before and after work on the circuit.

  • Nitrogen leak testing.
  • Precise vacuum measurement to check moisture removal.
  • Monitor charging and verify the system while operating.
  • Dedicated compressor, evaporator and condenser tests.
  • Analyse restrictions in the receiver-drier and metering device.

Thermal management for current vehicles

The solution is designed for electronically controlled systems, hybrid and electric vehicles, heat pumps and different refrigerant technologies. Flow control valve actuation is integrated into supported diagnostic and service procedures.

AC909 range instruments

Wireless instruments add measurements and functions to the diagnostic workflow. Confirm the kit contents for the intended configuration.

  • AC Box: four-port manifold with integrated vacuum gauge and refrigerant inspection sight glass.
  • Compressor Box: diagnosis of the compressor, associated wiring and control unit.
  • Temperature clamp: refrigerant pipe surface measurement and Bluetooth communication.
  • Temperature and humidity probe: ambient, cabin and air vent measurements.
  • Refrigerant scale: cylinder weighing and automatic charge control using a solenoid valve.

Coverage and availability

Each operation depends on the vehicle make, model, year and system. Check Autel coverage and service requirements before selecting a coding, programming or calibration function.
